The Dunbarton Public Library is pleased to offer Downloadable Books to our patrons.
This service is provided by OverDrive Media and sponsored by the New Hampshire State Library.
To use this service you will need a Valid Library Card and PIN number. Please note: if your library card has expired (they are good for 2 years), or if you have overdue materials or outstanding fines, you will not be able to sign into NHDB until the problem has been cleared with the library.

Check out the new Libby app HERE
Libby is the new app released by OverDrive. It will become the primary app as of 2/23/22. It has the same collection of titles as the classic OverDrive app – it’s just a different way to access the same digital library collection. The old Overdrive app will be removed from all app stores on 2/23/22. Users who previously installed the Overdrive app will still be able to use it, BUT going forward, Libby will be the app to get.
Libby is compatible with Android and iOS devices. Libby is great if you just want to download a book to your Android or iOS phone or tablet. We find it very simple!
How to install the Libby app on your Kindle Fire tablet
The Libby app is not available in the Amazon app store for Kindle Fire devices. However, Kindle Fire users can take advantage of the webapp version of Libby, using the Silk browser on the Kindle Fire device.
Just visit the Libby webapp on your Silk or other browser, and then follow the prompts to add a library and library card to Libby. Once configured, the webapp version of Libby will provide a mobile-friendly experience that approximates the mobile app.
