Toddler Story Time. Wednesdays at 10:30 AM.
Make new friends and enjoy interactive and energetic stories, songs and music with a unique theme each week. This Story Time is designed for ages 18 months to 4 years, and their caregivers. Babies are most welcome. Stay and play afterward!
Read to Dogs!
Every Thursday at 3:00 PM (except November 9th and November 23).
This is a reading program designed to improve children's reading skills. Read aloud to a registered/certified therapy dog from Therapy Dogs International, Chapter 205. We will meet every Thursday afternoon at 3:00 PM, and you must register to participate. Space is limited!
Kids in Grade K-4 who register will have a 15 minute session with a dog of their choice. Bring your own book, or pick out one of ours to read.
Why read to a dog? Because dogs are friendly and comfy, non-judgemental (no pressure!) and they love the attention of being read to!
Kids can gain more confidence in their reading aloud skills, and enjoy the company of a new friend.
If you would like more information, or to register, please call me at the library. Thank you.
